What a wonderful few days for the 11 of us. We laid over 30,000 square feet of roofing over what is being called the club house during our time here. That when complete will house the volunteer groups that come out to work. I do not have a count on how many blocks we laid, but we used all of the block on the section we worked on, then had to bring another ladder out to get up to the 2nd floor of another section of the building to bring down about another skid of brick, over across the atrium floor and back up to the 2nd floor where we were working.
What I have done was try to capture some of the inspiration, rewards placed in my heart because I went on this mission trip with no prescribed notion what I would be doing while there. I went to serve the Father in whatever manner was his will for me to do.
Talk to others to learn about their experience. Talk to me so I can fill in between the lines and the pictures. Ask our Lord how you may serve him.
